My Little Rolly Polly!

This week was quite eventful! On friday Sweet Baby rolled over for the first time! I caught her on camera.

She use to hate being on her tummy and so I stopped placing her on her tummy even though the doc told me I should give her ten minutes of tummy time a day so she'll learn to roll over. Well on Friday I placed her on her tummy just so I could button up her dress and bam! she rolled over.
Another great event is that I expanded my technological capabilities and learned how to add video to the computer.

I think she's starting to teeth. She's been a bit more fussy and she started waking up in the middle of the night again. But, nonetheless she's adorable as ever!

She wore a blue poka-dotted dress today at church. There are about 5 new babies in our ward but sweetbaby is the only girl so she gets a lot of attention!

And last, but not least, I finally caved in and subjucted SweetBaby to the fashion rituals my mother use to do on me when I was her age. I glued a bow onto her head with school glue...I couldn't help myself.

However, it didn't stay on for very long...oh well.

New Years Resolution?

I really would like to keep up a blog...really. And maybe now that my little SB (sweet baby) is out of the womb and kickin' around I will because she does at least one thing a day to blog about. So here we go. Attempt numero tres.
The last three months (almost four) have been incredible.
My Sweet Baby girl was born Oct. 27 at 3:18 AM. 3 hours after her due date. The night of the 25th and morning of the 26th I had a false alarm and the doctors told me it would be another week before SB would come. So I attended all my classes on Friday, contractions and all. At night they got so bad my family convinced me to call the doctor. The doctor told me I wasn't ready but my mother didn't believe that. So against my will she convinced me to go to the hospital anyway and just have things checked out. It turned out that I was 3 centimeters dialated and 6 hours later SB was born. It was the most awesome experience I have ever had. I had an epidural, which I highly reccomend to anyone, and yet I could still feel everything, just without pain. It was amazing. SB came out healthy and happy but we had to stay in the hospital an extra day because she had small amounts of jaundice that went away quickly.
The next couple of days were filled with excitment, joy and exhastion.
A few days later was Halloween. SB was a little black kitty and DH and I were new parents!

In November we went on SB's first road trip. We spent Thanksgiving with my mom, dad and brother and DH's family in Williamsberg, VA.

In December DH finished school and we spent Christmas with My family.
This is a four generation picture with great grandma, grandma, me and SB!

And then grandma and grandpa with SB on Christmas day.

And After Christmas we spent some time with DH's family for his brother's wedding and his other brother's baptism.

And now I am back in school (last semester!) and SB is growing everyday! We went to VA Beach the other day and it was SB's first day at the beach, it was also my first time seeing the Atlantic ocean on land.

SB is just full of life and light. She loves to sing and tell stories. She'll spend 20 minutes a time just voicing her opinion and singing. She's hitting all the milestones well and she's usually a very happy baby. She use to sleep through the night but lately she's been waking up. last night it was at 1:30 AM! She loves books and her toys, especially her butterflies. And she loves to use her legs and kick, yesterday she was climbing on me pushing her legs against her pillow. She prefers standing to laying and sitting and hates being on her tummy. Here are a few more pictures of her!

That's all for now. My goal is to update this blog once a week...let's see how that goes!
