So Much to Say

Sorry it has been forever since my last post! I was way busy with school but now it's over for a few days.

So much has happened and I have lots of pictures! The baby had a lot of pre-firsts.

The baby was in it's first performance. I performed in the ballet The Parable of the Ten Virgins and was one of the wise virgins. (luckily I wasn't showing yet). The picture is hard to see but I'm the 2nd one down on the far left. The performances went well and I felt well enough for all of them!

The baby also had it's first pre-experience going to a zoo. A safari zoo in fact. My parents came over and my dad and Dave and I went to a safari park where zebras, buffalo and many other animals came directly to our car to be fed. Luckily we used my dad's rental car because afterwards the car was trashed with animal feed and slobber!

And then all three of us had our first real and true southern experience. We went to the dirt track races. We went with a couple of friends and someone in our ward raced in it. He got first. It was quite the experience. the cars went fast and were loud! There were no big crashes, though a lot of the cars fell apart as they raced. Dave loved the experience and wants to go back. I thought it was a good one-time experience.

I have had two doctors appointments since the last time I posted. The first one went okay. I got a new picture! And we heard it's heart beat. They drew a lot of blood out of me and I got really light headed and faint afterwards. I got all clammy and pale, it was not a fun experience. But everything looks fine conserning the blood tests. I also went to the doctor today and all is well. I go back next week to get more blood work done. I'm not looking forward to it, but it's going to determine if my baby has any problems. And then in four weeks I'm going in to see if the baby is a boy or girl! That will be an exciting time.

I think I'm staring to show. I can't tell if I'm growing or if I'm just poking my tummy out every time I look. But my weight is still 4 pounds less than normal, so maybe not. I'm also growing hair on my tummy...I'm trying not to let it freak me out, but it's kinda strange. Other than that I usually feel pretty good, though I get more moody more frequently. (Dave can back me up on that one).

That's all for now! I'll post after my blood tests next week...hopefully.
